Project 2

For this project, i started with one bass part that was a loop already made. i added a couple drum loops, that i wrote. i put in a slayer part that was a loop. i used panning frequently, which added some depth. i also used just a little bit of reverb.
I wrote a bass part to be in between the two guitar parts. i then wrote a guitar part with slayer. towards the end i found a sim synth part called fat n Brassy. it sounded a little like a fat man skipping. i finished the song with a short loop of a tuba.

  1. This loop changes a lot, without developing any ideas. I like you opening chopped bass loop, but then it seems to wander. The electric guitar is a bit soft, and the bass seems to begin playing another tune at :45. The simsynth tuba sound doesn't support the screeching guitar at the end. You show mastery of the tools (chop, transpose, etc.) but your writing could be more organized.

  2. i agree alot. i kept finding cool sounds and just getting excited so i threw them in. i probably should have just saved them for a spot in another song that fit the loop.
