Chords Progression

Finally finished this project. There isn't a whole lot different from the original, but i think this one flows better. It also follows the directions of the project better, with an underlying bass part that plays one note, not a melody. The project still has my original bass part, but not really as THE bass, but more an accent in the song. I also added another melody that connects the two "busier" parts of the song, making it a lot more like a real song. It's been a while since I last worked on this, due to vacation, so i may have left out some details, but that's all I remember.

Update on chords progression

I have been fixing my song lately and it's still not finished. The song makes much more sense though. Instead of it just switching 10 times between two different parts, it has more of a melody, and is more connected. I'm still working on making my one bass note that is throughout much of the song, sound better. I lessened the screetchyness of the slayer part a little bit too. I still want to make some more changes to the slayer sound though. I've still got some work to do, but i think it'll be finished pretty Tuesday or Thursday after vacation.

Chords Progression

I'm still not exactly great at making these chords, but it's making it easier to start writing a loop. I used to just play random notes until i found ones that sounded alright together. I'm not sure if i did the object of the project right, but i wanted to get something posted today, so i just posted it.
It starts out with an "ahhhh" sound that rotates through three different chords. the bass part along with it is playing three notes from one chord. They are C, E and G. (I wouldn't have known that but FL Studio 10 tells me!!!). The two parts seemed to mesh pretty well. After that i took an FPC loop, and switched it up a little bit so it would fit into my song. Eventually a slayer part comes in that has a really laid back loop. I thought the whole sound of the song was unique, but i liked it.
I still need to learn more about the chords, but i hope to continue using them because it makes life a lot easier. I'm not sure how i'm planning to do the next project though. I might stay laid back, but i might make it a little more upbeat, but try to control it so it's not excessive.

NOT DONE YET, FIXING SOME THINGS
