Project 4

I first started with writing a slayer part, and then changed the sound on the knobs on the little menu that has a guitar on it. Next i added an automation clip for the damp envelope and cutoff frequency. Then i found a drum loop from FPC that matched well with the song. Then i began the long search for a 3x OPC sound that i actually liked. all of the sound were horrible screechy sounds that did not go with my slayer part at all. The one that i finally used was the best fit that i could find, even though i still did not love it. i added a little bit of reverb to make it sound more realistic. Next i added an automation clip of Fruity Blood Overdrive which made the sound almost "heavier". i also used the x,y controls and recorded them. At the end i faded out my 3x OPC sound, leaving just my slayer part and two new FPCs that change. As a last effect i made the 3x OPC also fade in at the beginning of the song.

Project 3

I first found a cool sym synth sound, and created an automation clip for the "cut envelope". i tried many different kinds of variations, and finally found one that sounded right. next i found two FPC loops that went along with the synth nicely, the second one being a fill for one measure. Next i figured that the song was a little boring so i added a boobass sound in the background in your right ear using panning. I then added an automation clip of the volume, and made it fade out slightly and slowly. i extended the synth and only the synth two extra measures to make the fade out more dramatic. I then added a "band envelope" automation clip which made the synth sound just a little cooler. i also made a lot of changes in the little dials for the filters. The highest pitch "OSC 1" is not included because it sounded too high pitched and a little screechy. The synth because of that is lower pitched throughout.

Project 2

For this project, i started with one bass part that was a loop already made. i added a couple drum loops, that i wrote. i put in a slayer part that was a loop. i used panning frequently, which added some depth. i also used just a little bit of reverb.
I wrote a bass part to be in between the two guitar parts. i then wrote a guitar part with slayer. towards the end i found a sim synth part called fat n Brassy. it sounded a little like a fat man skipping. i finished the song with a short loop of a tuba.
