Grady rap

Ok, this project is soooooo far from perfect. The original rap that she recorded for us was horribly off beat, so i split her vocals into about 25 different pieces and spaced them better so that she would come in at the right time. Sometimes she said a word too long so i would have to cut that. Listening to it right now you probably can't tell the amount of work that went into it but there was a lot of work. Sadly the year is over and i don't have time to perfect it and make it sound good. It is still very offbeat, but it is autotuned and i added bass and a drum beat that go along with the vocals the best i could do in the given amount of time. If i DID have more time, I would autotune it a little better, add some harmony and of course make it so that it's not offbeat. I hope you at least enjoy hearing Mrs. Grady sound funny. Also at the end i took an "alrighttt" vocal and autotuned it the same way that I autotuned Mrs. Grady so it sounds like she says "alrighttt".

  1. The best way to deal with music samples that are out of time is to slice them up into smaller samples and paste them in. you did a good job rhythmically.
